Summer's last Soiree

 Sitting at my workbench, overlooking the magnificent mountains on this the first day of September, I cannot help feeling that something is about to change...
It is about this time every year, that I feel myself starting to travel inward. 
Today, as I look out at the trees still green in their summer splendor I can imagine them dancing their last dance under the warm summer sky.
 I realize that It wont be long now before the leaves begin their colorful transformation and whimsical descent from the tree tops to the ground below, and the landscape will begin to resemble the multicolored pallet of a watercolor painter. 
The hummingbirds will begin their migration to even warmer climates, the butterflies will have fluttered away and I will have had my last dance this season with the dragonflies...
 Autumn's splendor awaits... Just around the corner
The crisp Autumn air, the crunch of leaves beneath my feet, Festivals and fairs...
 But first, One more dance beneath the starry summer's sky,
It's a Marvelous night for a moon-dance...
